We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join a thriving dental practice. This role requires expertise in general dentistry, and will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to ensure an exceptional patient experience.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to understand the needs of the patient.</li><li>Provide preventive, restorative, and emergency dental care, including but not limited to dental extractions, fillings, SS crowns, space maintainers etc.</li><li>Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to deliver optimal patient care</li><li>Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continued education and training</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school</li><li>Active CA dental license</li><li>Excellent patient care skills experience with a focus on strong communication and empathy</li><li>Expert knowledge of dental terminology</li><li>Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix</li><li>Great understanding of medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry</li><li>Experience in dental clinic operations and patient management</li></ul>Duties<ul><li>Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments using medical and dental terminology</li><li>Diagnose dental conditions and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs</li><li>Conduct various dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery</li><li>Utilize digital imaging and other diagnostic tools to evaluate oral health status</li><li>Practice infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety</li><li>Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records while maintaining HIPAA compliance</li><li>Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to deliver efficient four-handed dentistry</li><li>Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies</li><li>Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in ongoing professional development</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice dentistry</li><li>Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental fabrication, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery</li><li>Familiarity with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix is highly desirable</li><li>Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging, infection control, and HIPAA regulations</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly to patients of all ages, including pediatrics</li><li>Ability to perform procedures such as root canal therapy, dental extractions, and pediatric dentistry with precision and care</li><li>Experience working in a dental clinic or office environment is preferred</li><li>Commitment to providing exceptional patient care while adhering to all safety and ethical standards</li></ul>Pay: $109,079.35 - $131,364.38 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Relocation assistance</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Work Location: In person
