We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join a thriving dental practice. This role requires expertise in general dentistry, and will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to understand the needs of the patient.
  • Provide preventive, restorative, and emergency dental care, including but not limited to dental extractions, fillings, SS crowns, space maintainers etc.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to deliver optimal patient care
  • Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continued education and training

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
  • Active CA dental license
  • Excellent patient care skills experience with a focus on strong communication and empathy
  • Expert knowledge of dental terminology
  • Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix
  • Great understanding of medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry
  • Experience in dental clinic operations and patient management

Duties

  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments using medical and dental terminology
  • Diagnose dental conditions and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
  • Conduct various dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery
  • Utilize digital imaging and other diagnostic tools to evaluate oral health status
  • Practice infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety
  • Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records while maintaining HIPAA compliance
  • Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to deliver efficient four-handed dentistry
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies
  • Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in ongoing professional development

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice dentistry
  • Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental fabrication, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery
  • Familiarity with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging, infection control, and HIPAA regulations
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly to patients of all ages, including pediatrics
  • Ability to perform procedures such as root canal therapy, dental extractions, and pediatric dentistry with precision and care
  • Experience working in a dental clinic or office environment is preferred
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care while adhering to all safety and ethical standards

Pay: $109,079.35 - $131,364.38 per year
