General Definition of Work:
 
Performs intermediate technical work providing hardware and software support and assistance to personal computer
 
users in County departments, assembling computers, installing necessary software, training and assisting users or
 
troubleshooting the personal computer, monitoring and answers help desk calls, assisting with county network systems,
 
and related work as apparent or assigned. 
 
Essential Functions:
 
&bull; Prepares, installs, and supports appropriate software for new PC's, Laptops, iPads, Tablets, iPhone, and Android
devices for all end users and disposes of old devices for County Departments.
<ul><li>Answers and handles helpdesk phone calls to evaluate and resolve technology issues; creates work tickets when an
</li></ul>issue cannot be solved over the phone and distributes to appropriate IT professionals for analysis and resolution.
<ul><li>Supports and manages print servers and end devices for printer; performs internet protocol (IP) addressing for new
</li></ul>printers and copiers; configures print preferences per department and configures scan-to-email on larger machines.
<ul><li>Analyzes major issues that affect other departments; diagnoses root cause and composes knowledge-based articles
</li></ul>on how to fix said issues; collaborates with higher level TSC employees on issues that affect multiple users.
<ul><li>Assigns and administers Multi Factor Authentication accounts so that users can use a virtual private network (VPN) to
</li></ul>access the County&rsquo;s network from off-site locations.
<ul><li>Supports a wide variety of applications when replacing old devices.
</li></ul><ul><li>Creates and assigns accounts to new users as well as assigns them an email; assigns permissions to said account,
</li></ul>creates mainframe logins for the user, and ensures access to appropriate mapped file shares.
<ul><li>Supports daily operations in the print room as needed; prints daily mail and dockets; runs backups and runs offloads
</li></ul>of County data so that it writes to tape backups.
<ul><li>Assigns each device a tag number for inventory purposes and makes sure to properly dispose of only tagged devices
</li></ul>when necessary.
<ul><li>Provides operational support on all applications and hardware to aide in the mobility of all end users.
</li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Attends classes, seminars, and continuing education courses to stay abreast of new technology, industry practices,
</li></ul>etc. 
 
Minimum Qualifications:
 
Education: Associates/Technical degree with coursework in information technology, computer science, or related field.
 
Experience: Moderate (1+ years) experience installing and repairing computer hardware and software, or equivalent
 
combination of education and experience.
 
Special Requirements: Must possess and maintain a Valid Michigan Driver&rsquo;s License.

Performs difficult professional work conducting hearings, reviewing complaints, petitions, handling of emergent issues,
 
participating in collaborative community partner meetings, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed
 
under the general direction of the Court Administrator. 
 
Essential Functions:
<ul><li>Conducts hearings in neglect cases involving the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services,
</li></ul>prosecuting attorneys, workers, respondent parents, attorneys for the respondent parents, Court-Appointed
 
Special Advocates (CASA) and a lawyer-guardian ad litem; documents reviews prior to the hearings, as the court
 
receives reports from case workers, parenting education services, therapists, substance abuse treatment and
 
tests, psychological evaluations, CASA reports, and school records.
<ul><li>Conducts hearings in juvenile delinquency and traffic cases with prosecuting attorneys, juveniles and their
</li></ul>parents, juvenile's attorneys, probation officers, police officers, community mental health (CMH) workers,
 
treatment providers; reviews the complaints and petitions, intake reports, probation reports, treatment
 
reports from CMH, treatment reports from placements, and reports from school.
</div></div><div><div><ul><li>Handles after-hours emergency removal requests from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services
</li></ul>and some after-hours delinquency related emergencies or detention placements, which both may require a
 
hearing on Saturday morning.
<ul><li>Performs research on juvenile delinquency and dependent neglect legal issues; reviews appellate court
</li></ul>decisions; reviews documents for hearings and writing opinions, including termination of parental rights
 
opinions.
<ul><li>Handles emergent issues, including violation of probation, and pick-up orders.
</li></ul><ul><li>Participates in collaborative community partner meetings. 
</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:
 
Education: Juris Doctorate
 
Experience: Considerable (3 plus years) experience in related legal work in the fields of family law, juvenile law, criminal
 
law, research and legal writing, and traffic code, or equivalent combination of education and experience
 
Special Requirements:
