Duties<ul><li>Dispense prescriptions accurately while verifying dosage, interactions, and contraindications using advanced pharmacy software systems.</li><li>Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy plans, considering medical history, physiology knowledge, and current health status.</li><li>Provide clinical pharmacy services such as medication counseling, immunizations, pain management strategies, and medication administration guidance.</li><li>Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and adjust treatment plans based on medical management principles and patient needs.</li><li>Prepare compounded medications with aseptic technique when required for specialized treatments or pediatric patients.</li><li>Manage inventory effectively by monitoring stock levels, ensuring proper storage conditions for medications including IV infusions, and overseeing medication procurement processes.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and facilitate seamless patient care coordination.</li><li>Educate patients on medication use, potential side effects, and lifestyle modifications to optimize therapeutic outcomes.</li><li>Ensure adherence to all safety protocols related to HIPAA compliance, infection control practices, and pharmacy regulations in acute care environments.</li><li>Supervise pharmacy technicians in daily operations while fostering a team-oriented atmosphere focused on delivering high-quality patient service.</li></ul>Pay: From $50.00 per hourWork Location: In person
