We are seeking a qualified and experienced HSSE Officer to support offshore operations onboard floating vessels. The role involves ensuring safe execution of pipelaying, subsea installation, trenching, and associated T&amp;I activities in full compliance with project HSE requirements and international standards.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Ensure all offshore activities are carried out safely and in line with project HSE requirements and international standards</li><li>Monitor operations including pipelaying, subsea installation, trenching, lifting, and diving activities</li><li>Implement and control Permit to Work (PTW) system for all high-risk tasks</li><li>Review and verify Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Task Risk Assessments (TRA)</li><li>Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and HSE inductions onboard</li><li>Perform regular HSE inspections of deck operations, lifting equipment, and work areas</li><li>Coordinate and manage Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) safely</li><li>Interface with marine crew to ensure safe coordination of vessel and construction activities</li><li>Identify unsafe acts/conditions and take immediate corrective actions (including Stop Work Authority)</li><li>Report and assist in investigation of incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions</li><li>Participate in emergency drills and support emergency response onboard</li><li>Ensure environmental compliance including waste management and spill prevention</li><li>Maintain accurate HSE reports and documentation</li></ul>RequirementsCompetency<ul><li>NEBOSH (IGC or equivalent international HSE certification) &ndash; Mandatory</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Minimum 6 years of offshore experience</li><li>Strong experience in Transportation &amp; Installation (T&amp;I) projects</li><li>Direct involvement in:</li><li>Pipelaying operations</li><li>Subsea installation activities</li></ul>Certifications<ul><li>Valid BOSIET or FOET (including HUET)</li><li>Valid Offshore Medical Certificate (OGUK or equivalent)</li></ul>Job Type: Contract Contract length: 6 monthsPay: AED12,000.00 - AED17,000.00 per monthWork Location: Hybrid remote in Dubai
