Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced HSSE Officer to support offshore operations onboard floating vessels. The role involves ensuring safe execution of pipelaying, subsea installation, trenching, and associated T&I activities in full compliance with project HSE requirements and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all offshore activities are carried out safely and in line with project HSE requirements and international standards
- Monitor operations including pipelaying, subsea installation, trenching, lifting, and diving activities
- Implement and control Permit to Work (PTW) system for all high-risk tasks
- Review and verify Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Task Risk Assessments (TRA)
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and HSE inductions onboard
- Perform regular HSE inspections of deck operations, lifting equipment, and work areas
- Coordinate and manage Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) safely
- Interface with marine crew to ensure safe coordination of vessel and construction activities
- Identify unsafe acts/conditions and take immediate corrective actions (including Stop Work Authority)
- Report and assist in investigation of incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions
- Participate in emergency drills and support emergency response onboard
- Ensure environmental compliance including waste management and spill prevention
- Maintain accurate HSE reports and documentation
RequirementsCompetency
- NEBOSH (IGC or equivalent international HSE certification) – Mandatory
Experience
- Minimum 6 years of offshore experience
- Strong experience in Transportation & Installation (T&I) projects
- Direct involvement in:
- Pipelaying operations
- Subsea installation activities
Certifications
- Valid BOSIET or FOET (including HUET)
- Valid Offshore Medical Certificate (OGUK or equivalent)

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED17,000.00 per month
