HSE Safety Engineer

We are looking for Health, Safety, and Environment Officer who will be responsible for safeguarding employees, assets, and the environment within our construction Sites.

The HSE Officer is expected to develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, while fostering a safe and healthy work environment for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Policy Development and Implementation: Create and update HSE policies, procedures, and programs aligned with local, national, and international regulations.
• Risk Assessment and Hazard Analysis: Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
• Training and Awareness: Organize and deliver HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and stakeholders, covering hazard recognition, emergency response, and safe operational practices.
• Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, documenting root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to HSE regulations, standards, and internal procedures, and communicate requirements to all personnel.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, training, and HSE performance metrics, and submit regular reports to management.
• Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, first aid, and coordination with emergency services.

Qualifications and Skills required:

• Educational Background: Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, safety management, risk management, or a related field.
• Certifications: NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent recognized HSE certifications
• Experience: Relevant experience in construction and industrial projects is preferred, minimum of 5 years or more.
• Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and reporting skills; ability to enforce HSE policies; proficiency in risk assessment and emergency management.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
