The QHS Engineer is responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards in all aspects of the manufacturing process. This role plays a critical part in developing and implementing systems, procedures, and policies that ensure a safe working environment and high product quality standards in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and record all Incoming materials, purchased through stores requisition.
  • Carry out inspection for to ensure zero defects for In-process materials, prepare reports and maintain necessary documentation.
  • Conduct site inspection to address customer complaints and issue non-conformance reports.
  • Prepare final quality inspection reports for the division.
  • Ensure the Quality of the Final finish product as per the ISO.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Technical team to improve product quality.
  • Prepare Corrective action / Preventive action based on customer complaints.
  • Establish quality procedures, standards, documentation as per Industry standards.
  • Establish work instructions, operating procedures to obtain better quality products.
  • Conduct quarterly internal audits and ensuring all the documentations are intact and ISO procedures are being followed.
  • Develop, update and monitor QHSE procedures, policies and practices.
  • Identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ensure the organization complies with all applicable health, safety, and environmental laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and environmental breaches to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Promote a culture of QHSE awareness and responsibility among employees. Ensure that information related to safety, quality, and environmental issues is effectively communicated throughout the organization by conducting trainings on production process & quality for workers.

· Understand and comply with the company's Quality health and safety policies.

· Report any Quality, health and safety concerns or incidents to the supervisor.

· Contribute to the continual improvement of environmental performance.

· Properly manage and dispose of waste according to company guidelines.

· Identify, report, and mitigate risks associated with workplace activities and suggest measures to reduce potential hazards.

· Be familiar with emergency procedures and evacuation plans. Participate in emergency drills and respond appropriately in actual emergencies.

· Understand and comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation.

· Keep updated/follow the changes in regulations that affect job responsibilities.

· Encourage a culture of safety and environmental responsibility among colleagues.

· Demonstrate a proactive approach to preventing accidents and environmental harm.

· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to health, safety, and the environment.

· Provide feedback and suggestions to improve health, safety, and environmental performance.

· Communicate effectively about health, safety, and environmental issues.

· Accurately report and record any non-conformities, incidents, or potential risks.

Previous work experience as QA/QC Engineer is required preferably from in Manufacturing sector.

· Qualification required – B.E. or M.E Mechanical

· Risk management of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines.

· Incident reporting and investigation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
