HSE Engineer (Trakhees Approved Required)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced HSE Engineer (Tarakhees Approved) with at least 5 years of UAE experience, responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards across projects. The role requires strong coordination with UAE authorities such as Dubai Municipality, MOHRE, and other relevant regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with local laws and regulations.

HSE Management & Compliance

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and systems in line with UAE laws and international standards.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, MOHRE, Civil Defense, and Tarakhees authority requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Prepare and submit HSE documentation, reports, and permits required by authorities.

Site Safety & Operations

• Monitor daily site activities to ensure safe work practices are followed.
• Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions for staff and subcontractors.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and implement corrective actions.

Authority & Client Coordination

• Liaise with government authorities including Tarakhees during inspections and audits.
• Support management during authority visits and compliance reviews.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors on HSE-related matters.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain HSE records including incident logs, training records, permits, and inspections.
• Prepare weekly and monthly HSE reports for management.
• Ensure proper implementation of method statements, risk assessments (RA), and HSE plans.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in the UAE.
• Tarakhees Approved is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws, regulations, and authority requirements.
• Experience dealing with Dubai Municipality, MOHRE, Civil Defense, and Tarakhees.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent (mandatory).
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
