TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full Time, 8 hours per day, 208 contract days with benefits as specified in the Classified Agreement.

Position Overview:</h3>
The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the school office, ensuring smooth functionality by managing tasks like scheduling meetings, managing/ordering office supplies, greeting visitors, handling school communications, and maintaining office systems, all while prioritizing efficiency and organization in the workplace. They support administrators with confidential and secretarial tasks.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Office Manager Duties and Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>
Model appropriate behavior in various social settings</li><li>
Communicate by phone, email and in person with people both within the district and outside regarding a variety of business matters, including vendor relations, facilities usage and student records</li><li>
Communicate effectively with teachers, students, educational aides, parents and administrators</li><li>
Maintain and update school website, social media and district calendar</li><li>
Produce and send out school newsletter and other communications</li><li>
Assist administration in scheduling appropriate meetings and completion of paperwork</li><li>
Support the attendance manager with student tardies and absences, including calling parents/guardians</li><li>
Participate effectively at meetings using appropriate social skills, problem solving and conflict resolution strategies</li><li>
Maintain accurate and complete student records while maintaining confidentiality requirements</li><li>
Knowledge of other routine or confidential materials, such as student, staff or faculty records as requested by administration</li><li>
Serve as student registrar, performing enrollment and transfer processing</li><li>
Manage student transcripts and class records</li><li>
Keep records which require a high degree of accuracy, including ledgers of money received, bank deposits, check records and administer student body financial accounts</li><li>
Process requisitions and purchase orders from department accounts</li><li>
Order, receive and distribute inventories and maintain school supplies as budgeted</li><li>
Arrange for substitutes and keep track of payroll/leave/timesheet forms</li><li>
Manage and update the school bell system</li><li>
Manage and coordinate school access (keys/badges)</li><li>
Manage and facilitate graduation with the principal</li><li>
Maintain a safe environment for students at all times</li><li>
Supervise students in the hallways, in the office area, and at the front door; ensuring safety and security at all times</li><li>
Report safety, sanitary and fire hazards immediately to administration</li><li>
Assist students with problem solving and accessing StudentVue (grades/attendance)</li><li>
Evaluate student injuries, determine course of action, perform minor first aid in compliance with district policies and complete required paperwork in a timely fashion</li><li>
Administer medications within the scope of district policies and state and federal law</li></ul>
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Demonstrate support for the district&rsquo;s mission and guiding principles</li><li>
Follow all laws, district policies, rules, regulations, memos, announcements and reasonable requests by proper authority</li><li>
Maintain the integrity of confidential information relating to a student, family, colleague, or district patron, and uses or relays academic, social, or personal information only in the course of performing assigned responsibilities and in the best interest of the individuals involved</li><li>
Maintain appropriate certifications and training hours as required</li><li>
Comply with applicable district, state, local and federal laws, rules and regulations</li><li>
Maintain regular attendance at work and work activities, and is punctual in meeting deadlines, attending meetings, and following schedules</li><li>
Collaborate and confer with students, parents, colleagues and community members in a harmonious and respectful manner</li><li>

Required Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>
Knowledge of Google Workspace including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides and Calendar</li><li>
Knowledge of basic accounting software, Citrix IV</li><li>
Maintains appropriate certifications and training hours as required</li><li>
