Accounting Clerk/BookkeeperWe are currently looking for an experienced accounting clerk or bookkeeper to join our company on a full time basis. This is not a remote work opportunity and all work needs to be completed on-site.The role is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, and General Ledger functions. The candidate must possess accurate data entry skills, recent QuickBooks experience, and 3+ years accounting/bookkeeping experience.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Review and process vendor invoices and inventory receipts</li><li>Accurately enter vendor invoices</li><li>Assist with vendor check runs</li><li>Prepare and enter journal entries</li><li>Assist with month end close</li><li>Review product sales, costs, and margins</li><li>Monitor and update product pricing</li><li>Reconcile bank and credit card accounts</li><li>Enter bank deposits</li><li>Reconcile balance sheet accounts</li><li>Assist with sales reconciliation and sales tax returns</li><li>Assist in reconciling ledgers, reports and accounting records</li><li>Prepare monthly customer statements</li><li>Assist Accounting Manager with all aspects of accounting</li><li>Manage multiple duties and priorities simultaneously</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Associates/Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting</li><li>Prior accounting experience required</li><li>Experience with QuickBooks (2+ years)</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills</li><li>Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines</li></ul>Qualified applicants should e-mail a resume and cover letter.Job Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hourEducation:<ul><li>Associate (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Bookkeeping/accounting: 2 years (Preferred)</li><li>QuickBooks: 2 years (Preferred)</li><li>Microsoft Excel: 2 years (Required)</li><li>accurate data entry: 2 years (Preferred)</li><li>accounts payable: 2 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Georgetown, MA 01833 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
