As a young, innovative company, we are focused on future-proofing our operations through automation and forward-thinking production methods.Position OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Production &amp; Purchasing Manager to support our manufacturing operations and ensure smooth coordination between production, inventory, and procurement. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.Experience with Sage accounting systems is a plus, as the position involves light accounting tasks related to inventory control and purchasing.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Management<ul><li>Assist in planning and scheduling production for hoof rasp manufacturing.</li><li>Maintain accurate workflow schedules and coordinate with production teams.</li><li>Monitor production progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines.</li></ul>Purchasing &amp; Inventory Control<ul><li>Maintain appropriate inventory levels for raw materials and finished goods.</li><li>Evaluate stock needs, forecast demand, and initiate purchase orders.</li><li>Perform light accounting functions related to purchasing, cost tracking, and inventory reconciliation.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.</li></ul>Shipping &amp; Logistics<ul><li>Prepare and ship domestic and international customer orders.</li><li>Ensure accuracy in packaging, labeling, and all required export documentation.</li><li>Coordinate with carriers and maintain shipping records.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in manufacturing, production planning, purchasing, or inventory control.</li><li>Experience with Sage or other accounting/ERP systems preferred.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Solid communication and organizational skills.</li><li>Familiarity with international shipping processes is a plus.</li></ul>Why Join Us?<ul><li>Small team environment with a global brand backing</li><li>Opportunity to influence and improve production and purchasing processes</li><li>Stable, growing company committed to innovation</li><li>Competitive compensation and benefits package</li></ul>Pay: $55,000.00 - $57,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
