Located in Xenia, Ohio, we are a close-knit team of 25 employees and part of Royal Kerckhaert Horseshoe Factory, a global leader in the farrier industry headquartered in the Netherlands. As a young, innovative company, we are focused on future-proofing our operations through automation and forward-thinking production methods.

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Production & Purchasing Manager to support our manufacturing operations and ensure smooth coordination between production, inventory, and procurement. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.

Experience with Sage accounting systems is a plus, as the position involves light accounting tasks related to inventory control and purchasing.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

• Assist in planning and scheduling production for hoof rasp manufacturing.
• Maintain accurate workflow schedules and coordinate with production teams.
• Monitor production progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines.

Purchasing & Inventory Control

• Maintain appropriate inventory levels for raw materials and finished goods.
• Evaluate stock needs, forecast demand, and initiate purchase orders.
• Perform light accounting functions related to purchasing, cost tracking, and inventory reconciliation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Shipping & Logistics

• Prepare and ship domestic and international customer orders.
• Ensure accuracy in packaging, labeling, and all required export documentation.
• Coordinate with carriers and maintain shipping records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production planning, purchasing, or inventory control.
• Experience with Sage or other accounting/ERP systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Solid communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with international shipping processes is a plus.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
