<div>Sawtooth Concepts Painting is looking for a Journeyman Painter to perform skilled painting jobs on interior and exterior structures.

What You'll Do:<ul><li>
Prepare work areas with drop cloths, tapes and masks as needed, and remove fixtures</li><li>
Apply paint, stain, and other finishes to equipment, buildings, and other structures using brushes, sprayers, or rollers</li><li>
Prepare surfaces by applying primers and sealers</li><li>
Perform general site clean-up, removes debris and trash from work site daily</li><li>
Move, load, and unload materials</li><li>
Assist in light construction work if necessary</li><li>
Properly use a 6-foot ladder</li><li>
Paint and assist other painters</li><li>
Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed</li><li>
Some specialized tasks may require on-the job training (Scissor Lift, boom lift etc.)</li></ul>
We're Looking For:<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>
5 Years of experience in commercial painting, with a strong background in both interior and exterior painting techniques</li><li>
Extensive knowledge in all aspects of the painting process</li><li>
Ability to work independently without direct supervision</li><li>
Ability to understand and follow directions</li><li>
Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time</li><li>
Ability to frequently bend, squat, stand walk, push, and pull up to 100 lbs., reach above shoulder level, have both arms and legs accessible, and perform manual dexterity</li><li>
Ability to work in all weather conditions</li><li>
Ability to occasionally sit, climb, crawl, and kneel</li><li>
Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly daily</li><li>
Ability to ascend and descend stairs, step stools, ladders, scaffolding, platform ladders, or mechanically elevated devices and be comfortable around heights and working on a roof</li></ul></div>

installations to ensure timely completion, provide high-quality service, and cost effectively manage labor and installation resources.

This is a full-time position 7:00am-4:30pm (Mon-Fri) with some opportunity for overtime. We provide excellent benefits such as Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, 401k matching, and Medical/Vision/Dental benefits as well as competitive wages.
What You'll Do:<ul><li>
Supervise the daily activities of installation operations</li><li>
Work collaboratively with Project Management, Project Coordination and Production to create installation schedules based on the project schedule and subcontracted labor</li><li>
Schedule, Review, and update items within companies CRM system including tasks, punch list or action items</li><li>
Deliver projects to job sites with shop staff labor</li><li>
Attend project site-meetings and coordinate install timing with the General Contractor, subcontracted labor, and other trades</li><li>
Complete required safety meetings, site orientations, hazard assessments, and safety documentation</li><li>
Ensure the correct tools, equipment, and materials are delivered to installation sites</li><li>
Take field measurements, compare measurements to architectural and shop drawings, and notify Project Management and Engineering to resolve any issues</li><li>
Direct and stage cabinets and components for installation</li><li>
Supervise installation projects while actively installing cabinets, fixture assemblies, and millwork</li><li>
Inspect work throughout the installation process and perform final quality checks of completed work to ensure quality standards are met</li><li>
Prepare and manage self-performed punch-list ensuring all items are complete and accurate, and quickly resolve issues</li><li>
Complete and maintain paperwork, documentation, and records throughout the installation process</li><li>
Manage the final contractor / owner punch-list and quickly resolve issues</li><li>
Develop and maintain relationships with General Contractors, subcontractors, and customers</li><li>
Ensure worksites and tools are cleaned, maintained, and safe</li><li>
Ensure work is being performed in a safe and efficient manner and correct any issues that arise</li><li>
Ensure installation consumable inventory levels are maintained</li><li>
Work collaboratively to ensure efficient installation and time management</li><li>
Assist with the development of process improvements that optimize efficiency</li><li>
Manage staff by selecting, orientating, training, coaching, counseling, monitoring attendance, and developing personal growth opportunities for employees</li><li>
Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed</li></ul>
We're Looking For:<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>
Associate&rsquo;s degree or certificate in Cabinet Making, Woodworking, or Carpentry preferred</li><li>
3 years of experience in commercial cabinet manufacturing, spray finishing, or installation with 2 years of leadership experience</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>
Strong time management and work prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time</li><li>
Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, sketches, and shop drawings</li><li>
Must have strong cabinet installation and finish carpentry skills</li><li>
Strong knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>
Apprentice level skills in cabinetry and architectural woodwork</li></ul></div>
