Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of freight. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of service.Duties<ul><li>Operate various types of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers.</li><li>Load and unload freight securely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of goods.</li><li>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.</li><li>Navigate routes effectively while adhering to delivery schedules.</li><li>Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption as required by law.</li><li>Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during transport.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.</li><li>Utilize forklifts or other equipment for loading/unloading as necessary.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver&rsquo;s license (CDL).</li><li>Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.</li><li>Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is a plus.</li><li>Prior delivery driver experience is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong understanding of route driving and freight handling practices.</li></ul>Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on the road.
