Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of freight. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Duties

• Operate various types of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers.
• Load and unload freight securely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of goods.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Navigate routes effectively while adhering to delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption as required by law.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during transport.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Utilize forklifts or other equipment for loading/unloading as necessary.

Experience

• Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is a plus.
• Prior delivery driver experience is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of route driving and freight handling practices.
