Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team! This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of young minds while working alongside experienced educators committed to excellence in early childhood education.Responsibilities<ul><li>Support lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional learning activities</li><li>Assist with classroom management to promote a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for children of diverse backgrounds and abilities</li><li>Engage children in age-appropriate activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and critical thinking</li><li>Provide attentive toddler and preschooler care, ensuring their physical needs are met with compassion and professionalism</li><li>Help with classroom organization, including preparing materials for lessons and maintaining a clean learning space</li><li>Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized assistance as needed</li><li>Foster effective communication with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to early childhood development</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education</li><li>Experience with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies</li><li>Familiarity with curriculum development, including literacy education and foundational math skills</li><li>Ability to work effectively with children who have autism or other disabilities; experience working with children with special needs is highly desirable</li><li>Strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and engage parents positively</li><li>Certification or training in early childhood education, Montessori methods, or special education is preferred but not required</li><li>Passion for nurturing young learners&rsquo; growth through engaging lesson planning and hands-on activities</li></ul>Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of young children!
