General Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develops a purchasing strategy</li><li>Reviews and processes purchase orders</li><li>Manages other members of the purchasing team</li><li>Maintains records of goods ordered and received</li><li>Negotiates prices and contracts with suppliers</li><li>Builds and maintains relationships with vendors</li></ul>Core Responsibilities:<ul><li>Financial Management: Develops and manages project budgets, ensures timely completion, and monitors expenditures.</li><li>Team Leadership: Supervises and mentors procurement professionals, approves expenditures, and work assignments.</li><li>Strategic Planning: Develops procurement strategies to achieve performance targets and organizational goals.</li><li>Contract Negotiation: Negotiates terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value.</li><li>Supplier Relationship Management: Builds and maintains relationships with suppliers and field representatives.</li><li>Compliance and Risk Management: Ensures procurement activities are performed in compliance with regulations and policies.</li><li>Cost and Value Analysis: Conducts cost analysis and value assessments to make strategic decisions.</li><li>Performance Measurement: Establishes metrics and benchmarks to measure procurement performance.</li><li>Technology Utilization: Utilizes procurement software and systems to manage processes efficiently.</li></ul>Client Relationship Management:<ul><li>Maintains strong relationships with clients and assists in contract and business development.</li></ul>Compliance:<ul><li>Ensures procurement activities comply with safety regulations, industry standards, building codes, and company policies.</li></ul>Coordination and Organization:<ul><li>Coordinates resources and manages resource allocation.</li></ul>Reporting and Analysis:<ul><li>Uses data and reports to track trends, analyze performance and provide reports.</li></ul>Qualifications for Roofing/Construction Leadership Role<ul><li>Experience in a leadership role, such as General Manager or Operations Manager, in the roofing or construction industry.</li><li>Strong understanding of project management, roofing processes, and industry best practices.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Proven success in managing budgets, driving revenue growth, and achieving business results.</li><li>Familiarity with industry-specific software and technology.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field is often preferred.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $70,000.00 - $105,000.00 per yearExperience:<ul><li>Roofing: 3 years (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Pompano Beach, FL 33069 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
