- Financial Management: Develops and manages project budgets, ensures timely completion, and monitors expenditures.
- Team Leadership: Supervises and mentors procurement professionals, approves expenditures, and work assignments.
- Strategic Planning: Develops procurement strategies to achieve performance targets and organizational goals.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiates terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Builds and maintains relationships with suppliers and field representatives.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensures procurement activities are performed in compliance with regulations and policies.
- Cost and Value Analysis: Conducts cost analysis and value assessments to make strategic decisions.
- Performance Measurement: Establishes metrics and benchmarks to measure procurement performance.
- Technology Utilization: Utilizes procurement software and systems to manage processes efficiently.
Client Relationship Management:
- Maintains strong relationships with clients and assists in contract and business development.
Compliance:
- Ensures procurement activities comply with safety regulations, industry standards, building codes, and company policies.
Coordination and Organization:
- Coordinates resources and manages resource allocation.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Uses data and reports to track trends, analyze performance and provide reports.
Qualifications for Roofing/Construction Leadership Role
- Experience in a leadership role, such as General Manager or Operations Manager, in the roofing or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of project management, roofing processes, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven success in managing budgets, driving revenue growth, and achieving business results.
- Familiarity with industry-specific software and technology.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field is often preferred.
