Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree and B-K Certification</li></ul><p>
 <b>Job Goals:</b></p><ul><li>
To provide direct and consultative services to eligible students and professionals</li><li>
To assist students and families with educational issues</li><li>
To coordinate services as case manager for preschool children</li><li>
To facilitate child find activities</li></ul><p>
 <b>Duties and Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>
Provide home based and site based direct instruction to eligible students</li><li>
Assist in transition for students in the preschool and school aged program</li><li>
Conduct system wide screenings, evaluations and monitoring of preschool students</li><li>
Serve as a member of Scotland County Local Interagency Council and any other relevant committees</li><li>
Facilitate placement and individual education plan meetings for preschool students</li><li>
Prepare progress reports, head count, outcomes and any other reports necessary</li><li>
Promote inclusion and consultation services for community agencies, classrooms and facilities</li><li>
Manage exceptional children&rsquo;s records and facilitate meetings as needed</li><li>
Maintain documentation for progress monitoring</li><li>
Assist the preschool exceptional children&rsquo;s preschool program with any duties deemed necessary</li><li>
Assist with NC Pre-Monitoring and Required Curriculum Implementation</li><li>
Provide Training for NC Pre-K Teachers</li><li>
Conduct Classroom Walk Throughs with Pre- Director and State Consultants</li><li>
Provide Coaching to NC Pre-K Teachers</li><li>
Provide pre-school services in both public and private settings</li><li>
Perform other duties deemed necessary by NC Pre-K Director</li></ul></div><p></p>
