We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to join our Purchasing Department. In this key role, you will support the team by managing day-to-day procurement activities, ensuring accurate data entry, assisting with sourcing and quoting, and tracking orders. This position plays a critical part in ensuring timely, cost-effective purchasing and maintaining a smooth operational flow.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Communicate basic vendor follow-ups.</li><li>Assist warehouse with receiving discrepancies.</li><li>Prepare reports or pull data for buyer.</li><li>Handle basic customer service purchasing questions (availability/eta/drop ship cancellations etc).</li><li>Track orders from placement through delivery; follow up with vendors on delays or discrepancies.</li><li>Maintain and update supplier records, pricing files, and product information.</li><li>Assist with resolving invoice discrepancies, receiving issues, and returns.</li><li>Coordinate communication between internal departments and external suppliers.</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>1&ndash;2 years of purchasing, administrative, or supply-chain related experience preferred.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in data entry.</li><li>Excellent communication and follow-up skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>Key Competencies:<ul><li>Problem-solving</li><li>Time management</li><li>Vendor and relationship management</li><li>Analytical thinking</li><li>Accountability and teamwork</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
