We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to join our Purchasing Department. In this key role, you will support the team by managing day-to-day procurement activities, ensuring accurate data entry, assisting with sourcing and quoting, and tracking orders. This position plays a critical part in ensuring timely, cost-effective purchasing and maintaining a smooth operational flow.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate basic vendor follow-ups.
  • Assist warehouse with receiving discrepancies.
  • Prepare reports or pull data for buyer.
  • Handle basic customer service purchasing questions (availability/eta/drop ship cancellations etc).
  • Track orders from placement through delivery; follow up with vendors on delays or discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update supplier records, pricing files, and product information.
  • Assist with resolving invoice discrepancies, receiving issues, and returns.
  • Coordinate communication between internal departments and external suppliers.

Skills:

  • 1–2 years of purchasing, administrative, or supply-chain related experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
