This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on communities while demonstrating your expertise in property management and customer service.Duties<ul><li>Oversee all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.</li><li>Coordinate property leasing activities.</li><li>Manage property maintenance and facilities management tasks by scheduling repairs, overseeing contractors, and ensuring properties meet safety standards.</li><li>Administer legal and administrative processes related to landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and Section 8 housing programs to ensure compliance.</li><li>Utilize property management software such as Appfolio for data entry, rent collection, reporting, and record keeping.</li><li>Handle conflict management by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally while maintaining positive relationships.</li><li>Prepare contracts, lease agreements, notices, and legal documents with precision and attention to detail.</li><li>Conduct regular inspections using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools to identify issues early and coordinate timely resolutions.</li><li>Maintain accurate filing systems for legal documents, maintenance records, tenant files, and correspondence.</li><li>Foster excellent customer service through effective phone etiquette, clear communication, and proactive engagement with tenants and vendors.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.</li><li>Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs, Section 8 housing vouchers, and related compliance requirements is highly desirable.</li><li>Hands-on experience with property management software such as Appfolio is essential for efficient operations.</li><li>Demonstrated skills in conflict management, negotiation, and contract administration to resolve issues effectively while maintaining positive relationships.</li><li>Prior office experience involving data entry, filing systems, customer relationship management (CRM), and general administrative tasks is required.</li><li>Knowledge of property maintenance procedures along with facilities management practices ensures properties are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards.</li><li>Excellent communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette enable effective interactions with tenants, vendors, and team members.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service is crucial for success in this role.
