Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Property Manager to lead the management of residential or commercial properties with enthusiasm and professionalism. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure tenant satisfaction, and maintain property standards. Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
  • Coordinate property leasing activities.
  • Manage property maintenance and facilities management tasks by scheduling repairs, overseeing contractors, and ensuring properties meet safety standards.
  • Administer legal and administrative processes related to landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and Section 8 housing programs to ensure compliance.
  • Utilize property management software such as Appfolio for data entry, rent collection, reporting, and record keeping.
  • Handle conflict management by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally while maintaining positive relationships.
  • Prepare contracts, lease agreements, notices, and legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
  • Conduct regular inspections using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools to identify issues early and coordinate timely resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems for legal documents, maintenance records, tenant files, and correspondence.
  • Foster excellent customer service through effective phone etiquette, clear communication, and proactive engagement with tenants and vendors.

Experience

  • Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
  • Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs, Section 8 housing vouchers, and related compliance requirements is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with property management software such as Appfolio is essential for efficient operations.
  • Demonstrated skills in conflict management, negotiation, and contract administration to resolve issues effectively while maintaining positive relationships.
  • Prior office experience involving data entry, filing systems, customer relationship management (CRM), and general administrative tasks is required.
  • Knowledge of property maintenance procedures along with facilities management practices ensures properties are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards.
  • Excellent communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette enable effective interactions with tenants, vendors, and team members.
