JOB DUTIES:</b></div><div></div><div><b><br>
Strategic Leadership</b></div><ul>
<li>Define and lead the product development strategy across the medtech portfolio.</li><li>
Translate business objectives and market opportunities into actionable R&amp;D roadmaps.</li><li>
Partner with executive leadership to drive innovation, pipeline growth, and long-term competitiveness.</li></ul><div><b>
Product Development</b></div><ul>
<li>Lead all phases of the product lifecycle, from concept, design, and prototyping through preclinical/clinical testing, regulatory submissions, and commercial launch.</li><li>
Ensure adherence to regulatory and quality standards (FDA QSR, ISO 13485, etc.), integrating quality management, risk management, and compliance into product development processes and company culture.</li><li>
Partner with clinical leadership to support clinical trial design and execution</li><li>
Translate clinician, patient, and stakeholder feedback into product features and design improvements.</li><li>
Oversee technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and design reviews.</li></ul><div><b>
Team &amp; Organizational Leadership</b></div><ul>
<li>Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing multidisciplinary team, including engineers, scientists, and program managers.</li><li>
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.</li><li>
Balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical and operational capability as needed.</li></ul><br>

REQUIREMENTS:</b></div><br>
<div></div><ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field; advanced degree (MS, PhD, MBA) strongly preferred.</li><li>
15+ years of progressive leadership experience in medical device product development.</li><li>
Demonstrated success bringing regulated medical devices from concept to market. Experience with novel therapeutic technologies desired.</li><li>
Deep knowledge of design controls, risk management, and regulatory pathways and processes. ).</li><li>
Proven track record managing cross-functional R&amp;D programs and leading multidisciplinary teams.</li><li>
Strong technical acumen</li><li>
Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.</li><li>
Experience in early-stage innovation within startup companies preferred.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>

Pay Range: $180,000-220,000 base salary; depending on qualifications/experience; Equity compensation to be provided</div><div>
