Join our team as a Preschool Support Teacher! We&rsquo;re seeking enthusiastic educators who value a nature-based program with a strong emphasis on outdoor learning and STEM. Together, we create a nurturing environment where children explore, discover, and grow.In this role, you&rsquo;ll support daily classroom activities, help maintain a safe and engaging space, and positively impact children&rsquo;s social, emotional, and cognitive development. It&rsquo;s a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow with us in early childhood education.Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays required (8:30 am&ndash;5:00 pm). Additional hours on Monday, Wednesday, and/or Friday available for part-time or full-time schedules.Responsibilities<ul><li>Support children during indoor and outdoor play</li><li>Assist with toileting/diapering, lunch, and snack preparation</li><li>Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom and outdoor space</li><li>Track safe sleep when applicable</li><li>Assist with documenting and communicating progress with families</li><li>Contribute to a positive, collaborative classroom environment</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Passionate about working with young children</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and solution-oriented</li><li>Committed to Segray&rsquo;s philosophy and mission</li><li>Initiative to grow</li><li>Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills</li><li>Spanish fluency a plus</li></ul>Education &amp; Experience<ul><li>12 units in Early Childhood Education preferred, but we welcome applicants currently completing their units</li><li>Experience with preschool-aged children preferred</li><li>Infant/Toddler units or outdoor classroom training a plus</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Frequent standing, walking, and active supervision of children</li><li>Occasionally lift and carry children of all sizes</li><li>Comfortable participating in outdoor, messy play</li></ul>Perks &amp; Benefits<ul><li>DoorDash DashPass membership</li><li>Catered birthday lunch and staff celebrations</li><li>Professional development opportunities</li><li>Field trips and low ratios</li><li>Monthly classroom supply budget</li><li>Supportive, growth-focused team environment</li></ul>About SegraySegray is a developmental preschool serving children ages one to six at our Eagle Rock and Oaks locations.
