Preschool Support Teacher

Join our team as a Preschool Support Teacher! We’re seeking enthusiastic educators who value a nature-based program with a strong emphasis on outdoor learning and STEM. Together, we create a nurturing environment where children explore, discover, and grow.

In this role, you’ll support daily classroom activities, help maintain a safe and engaging space, and positively impact children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. It’s a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow with us in early childhood education.

Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays required (8:30 am–5:00 pm). Additional hours on Monday, Wednesday, and/or Friday available for part-time or full-time schedules.

Responsibilities

• Support children during indoor and outdoor play
• Assist with toileting/diapering, lunch, and snack preparation
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom and outdoor space
• Track safe sleep when applicable
• Assist with documenting and communicating progress with families
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative classroom environment

• Spanish fluency a plus

Education & Experience

• 12 units in Early Childhood Education preferred, but we welcome applicants currently completing their units
• Experience with preschool-aged children preferred
• Infant/Toddler units or outdoor classroom training a plus

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, and active supervision of children
• Occasionally lift and carry children of all sizes
• Comfortable participating in outdoor, messy play
