This is a temporary to permanent position.As an Assistant Planner, your primary responsibility will be to verify building measurements and existing conditions and then translate that information into accurate as-built drawings using AutoCAD 2026. These drawings serve as critical documentation for our records and leasing purposes.Below are the key duties and qualifications for this role:Duties &amp; Responsibilities:1 )On-site Verification:<ul><li>Visit properties and existing buildings to verify measurements and assess as-built conditions.</li><li>Photograph the building's interior and exterior extensively for our records and reference.</li><li>Dependable transportation required.</li></ul>2) Drawing Creation:<ul><li>Utilize AutoCAD software to create detailed as-built drawings. This includes noting Floor Plans with as-built utility information and creating as-built Reflected Ceiling Plans when required.</li><li>Incorporate precise measurements, calculations, and details into the drawings.</li><li>Ensure accuracy by cross-referencing field measurements with existing architectural plans.</li></ul>3) Collaboration:<ul><li>Work closely with in-house Planners to determine requirements.</li><li>Communicate effectively to ensure accurate representation of existing conditions</li><li>Ability to revise drawings per redline comments</li></ul>Qualifications:Education:<ul><li>A bachelor&rsquo;s degree in architecture, engineering, or interior design</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD required</li><li>Proficiency in Revit, Sketchup, Photoshop, and Matterport are a plus</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Ability to produce drawings in a timely manner/ good time management skills</li><li>Self-motivated</li><li>Ability to meet deadlines</li><li>Familiarity with construction terminology and systems</li><li>Microsoft Suite/Teams/CoPilot</li><li>Adobe basics</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Prior experience creating building plans in AutoCAD and/or Revit</li><li>Knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and spatial relationships</li><li>Prior experience creating 3D models in Revit or Sketchup is a plus</li><li>Knowledge of BOMA standards for Retail, Office, and Industrial buildings is a plus</li></ul>Pay: $52,858.89 - $63,658.02 per yearWork Location: In person
