Job SummaryThe Ward Boy supports nursing staff in providing basic patient care, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the hospital ward.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist patients with mobility, including transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, stretchers, and trolleys</li><li>Help patients with basic needs such as bathing, feeding, dressing, and toileting as instructed by nursing staff</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of wards, beds, and patient areas</li><li>Transport patients for tests, procedures, and between departments</li><li>Deliver samples, reports, medicines, and medical supplies within the hospital</li><li>Assist nurses during procedures when required</li><li>Change bed linen and ensure proper disposal of biomedical waste</li><li>Follow hospital infection control and safety guidelines</li><li>Respond promptly to patient calls and emergencies</li><li>Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Minimum education: 8th / 10th pass (as per hospital policy)</li><li>Ability to read and understand basic instructions</li><li>Physically fit and able to lift/move patients</li><li>Basic knowledge of hospital hygiene and safety practices</li><li>Good communication and cooperative attitude</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Fresher or prior hospital experience preferred</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: Up to ₹16,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
