This is a key role within Sensecos growing Passive Fire Division, supporting the Head of Passive Fire Systems in driving operational excellence, improving internal processes, and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day activities.
If you enjoy bringing structure to fastmoving environments, solving problems, and taking ownership without needing constant direction, this role offers the chance to make a real impact. You'll work closely with senior leadership, help shape how the division operates, and play a central part in integrating new areas of the business.
What you will be doing<ul><li>
Supporting the development, implementation, and improvement of internal systems and processes</li><li>
Managing and refining stock control and inventory processes</li><li>
Coordinating operational activity across the Passive Fire division, ensuring smooth workflow</li><li>
Preparing financial reports, analysing data, and supporting internal presentations</li><li>
Supporting accreditation processes, audits, and maintaining compliance documentation</li><li>
Acting as a point of contact for internal and external queries</li><li>
Assisting with onboarding and integration of newly acquired business units</li><li>
Taking on ad-hoc projects and operational tasks to support the Head of Department
</li></ul>A typical week might include<ul><li>
Reviewing stock levels and ensuring materials are available for upcoming works</li><li>
Preparing operational reports for senior leadership</li><li>
Supporting engineers or coordinators with process queries</li><li>
Assisting with audit preparation or compliance updates</li><li>
Troubleshooting workflow bottlenecks and improving documentation</li><li>
Liaising with suppliers, clients, or internal teams to resolve issues</li></ul>
Who we are looking for

Desirable (but not essential)<ul><li>
Experience in operations, coordination, or administration</li><li>
Exposure to stock control or inventory systems</li><li>
Experience preparing reports or working with financial data</li><li>
Familiarity with compliance or accreditation processes</li><li>
Experience within construction, fire protection, or technical services</li><li>
Experience supporting business integration or process improvement</li><li>
Knowledge of passive fire protection (fire doors, fire dampers, firestopping, extinguishers, smoke control)</li></ul>
