Office Administrator / DispatcherLocation: In-office Schedule: Monday&ndash;Friday, 9:00 AM &ndash; 5:00 PM Pay: $20&ndash;$24/hour (based on reliability, performance, and judgment)About the RoleThis is an operations-focused position within an emergency services company. When a customer experiences fire, water, or property damage, our team coordinates the response.In this role, you will be responsible for keeping jobs moving&mdash;dispatching crews, managing schedules, communicating with customers, and ensuring documentation is accurate and complete.The environment is fast-paced and frequently changes throughout the day. Success in this role requires strong organization, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Dispatch crews to emergency and scheduled jobs</li><li>Adjust and manage schedules as new work is added</li><li>Communicate with field crews to coordinate job execution</li><li>Provide clear, professional communication to customers</li><li>Send daily progress updates to clients</li><li>Maintain accurate job notes and documentation</li><li>Perform data entry and manage information across systems</li><li>Support the Office Manager and assist with general office operations</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking ForWe are less focused on traditional office experience and more focused on how you operate day-to-day.Strong candidates will demonstrate:<ul><li>Reliability and follow-through &ndash; tasks are completed fully and on time</li><li>Composure under pressure &ndash; able to stay organized when priorities shift</li><li>Problem-solving ability &ndash; able to make decisions and adjust plans quickly</li><li>Clear communication &ndash; professional with customers, direct with team members</li><li>Accountability &ndash; takes ownership of outcomes, not just tasks</li></ul>This role requires interacting with both customers and field crews. You must be able to communicate professionally while also working effectively with direct, fast-moving team members.Work Environment<ul><li>Fast-paced, high-volume workload</li><li>Priorities can change quickly throughout the day</li><li>Requires coordination across multiple jobs and team members</li><li>Occasional need to assist with after-hours dispatch communication</li></ul>This is a structured role, but not a predictable one.
