We&rsquo;re obsessed with the perfect cup of coffee and we&rsquo;re looking for an experienced barista who shares that obsession. We roast every single bean we use, work on custom-made La Marzocco, have three locations in Manhattan that serve the perfect cortados, and we take great pride in our carefully selected bean portfolio.Oh, and we&rsquo;re the home of one of New York City&rsquo;s best ooey-gooey chocolate chip cookies! (It&rsquo;s not us saying it &ndash; The New York Times called them &ldquo;Irresistible,&rdquo; New York Magazine&rsquo;s Grub Street said that &ldquo;we&rsquo;d consider eating nothing else,&rdquo; Infatuation called them &ldquo;a cult favorite,&rdquo; and Thrillist ranked them in the 5 Best Cookies in NYC.)We are looking for a motivated Experienced Barista/Key Holder role to join our team!What makes our dream Experienced Barista/Key Holder? Responsibilities include: - 1-year (or more) experience in a specialty coffee environment- You can operate a La-Marzocco or other manual espresso machine in your sleep- You can produce some beautiful latte art and can dial-in easily.- You&rsquo;re passionate about all-things-coffee- You&rsquo;re passionate about hospitality and about creating a friendly and welcoming experience for our patrons, regulars and neighborhood locals- You have previous experience using a POS system- You&rsquo;re proactive, self-motivated, invested in what you do, and take pride in your craft- You have open availability, including weekends- You&rsquo;re fun to work with and to be around and we&rsquo;d be happy to wake up early in the morning to work a shift with you- Strong plus: You have a New York Food Handlers&rsquo; Certificate. If you don&rsquo;t have one, no worries, but you&rsquo;re open to getting certifiedThe compensation and perks we offer:- Highly competitive hourly compensation &ndash; $25-29 per hour! &ndash; which includes both hourly wage and shift tips- Benefits: Medical, dental and vision, and 401K plans- Free coffee and employee discounts- We always welcome talent that wants to grow with us.
