Seven Grams Caffe is seeking an Experienced Barista/Key Holder.

Who are we?

Seven Grams Caffe is a fast paced, innovative specialty coffee brand that bridges the gap between premium coffee and premium baked goods. We’re obsessed with the perfect cup of coffee and we’re looking for an experienced barista who shares that obsession. We roast every single bean we use, work on custom-made La Marzocco, have three locations in Manhattan that serve the perfect cortados, and we take great pride in our carefully selected bean portfolio.

Oh, and we’re the home of one of New York City’s best ooey-gooey chocolate chip cookies! (It’s not us saying it – The New York Times called them “Irresistible,” New York Magazine’s Grub Street said that “we’d consider eating nothing else,” Infatuation called them “a cult favorite,” and Thrillist ranked them in the 5 Best Cookies in NYC.)

We are looking for a motivated Experienced Barista/Key Holder role to join our team!

What makes our dream Experienced Barista/Key Holder? Responsibilities include:

- 1-year (or more) experience in a specialty coffee environment

- You can operate a La-Marzocco or other manual espresso machine in your sleep

- You can produce some beautiful latte art and can dial-in easily.

- You’re passionate about all-things-coffee

- You’re passionate about hospitality and about creating a friendly and welcoming experience for our patrons, regulars and neighborhood locals

- You have previous experience using a POS system

- You’re proactive, self-motivated, invested in what you do, and take pride in your craft

- You have open availability, including weekends

- You’re fun to work with and to be around and we’d be happy to wake up early in the morning to work a shift with you

- Strong plus: You have a New York Food Handlers’ Certificate. If you don’t have one, no worries, but you’re open to getting certified
