Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Food Preparation Assistance:</li><li>Assist chefs and cooks with basic food prep tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients.</li><li>Portion and wrap food items as directed.</li><li>Store food items properly in refrigerators or dry storage areas.</li><li>Cleaning and Sanitizing:</li><li>Clean and sanitize workstations, countertops, and kitchen surfaces.</li><li>Empty trash bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.</li><li>Stocking and Inventory:</li><li>Ensure that all kitchen supplies, ingredients, and equipment are stocked and organized.</li><li>Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries.</li><li>Rotate stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste following FIFO Policy.</li><li>Assist during busy periods by running food, refilling supplies, or performing other tasks as needed.</li><li>Ensure that the kitchen remains clean and organized during service.</li><li>Equipment Maintenance:</li><li>Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, such as ovens, grills, and fryers.</li><li>Report any malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor.</li></ul><ul><li>Compliance with Health and Safety Standards:</li><li>Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.</li><li>Wear appropriate protective gear, such as gloves and aprons.</li><li>Adhere to all workplace safety protocols.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li>Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects (up to 20kg).</li><li>Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.</li></ul>Work Environment:<ul><li>Fast-paced, high-energy kitchen setting.</li><li>Exposure to heat, steam, and loud noises.</li><li>Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Health insurance as per the company policy.</li><li>Employee meals or equivalent allowance as per the company evaluation.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: AED3,000.00 per month
