We create cinematic photography and video for top-performing agents, luxury properties, and premium brands across the region.We are currently looking for a Creative Director / Hybrid Videographer to join our team. This role is designed for someone who doesn&rsquo;t just operate a camera, but understands how to guide a shoot, shape a story, and elevate the quality of the final production.Our creators approach every shoot with structure, creative direction, and a defined workflow, helping clients feel comfortable on camera while producing content that stands above typical real estate media.At Sharkey Media Group, our team members are more than camera operators. We approach every production with intentional storytelling, structured workflows, and hands-on creative direction to help our clients deliver their best performance on camera.We are looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, pays attention to detail, and wants to grow within a team that values high production quality, creative collaboration, and continuous improvement.This role begins as a contract / per-project position, with the opportunity to grow into consistent part-time or full-time work for the right person.**Applicants must be based in South Florida and available for on-location production.Website: sharkeymediagroup.comIG: @sharkeymediagroupTHE ROLEWe are looking for a hybrid creative with experience in both photo and video production, with a primary focus on video.You will work alongside our team during client productions while also helping create behind-the-scenes (BTS) and marketing content for Sharkey Media Group.This position begins with a training and onboarding period where we will work closely with you to align with our production process, workflow, and creative standards.ResponsibilitiesOn-Site Production<ul><li>Assist with photo and video shoots for client projects</li><li>Capture professional photo and video content depending on production needs</li><li>Film behind-the-scenes (BTS) content during productions</li><li>Help guide clients on camera to achieve the best results</li><li>Contribute to creative direction and shot execution on set</li></ul>Editing<ul><li>Edit BTS and marketing content using Final Cut Pro</li><li>Produce short-form content for social media</li><li>Organize media and assist with footage workflows</li></ul>Creative Tasks<ul><li>Assist with creative concepts for marketing content</li><li>Help produce content for Sharkey Media Group&rsquo;s social channels</li><li>Contribute ideas that improve storytelling and production quality</li></ul>Typical work distribution:<ul><li>50% Editing</li><li>30% Shooting</li><li>20% Creative / marketing tasks</li></ul>Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is:<ul><li>Highly organized and detail oriented</li><li>A strong visual storyteller</li><li>Comfortable working with luxury brands and high-end properties</li><li>Able to take ownership of projects</li><li>Collaborative and creative on set</li><li>Motivated to grow into a leadership role within production</li><li>Interested in eventually running shoots independently and leading creative direction</li></ul>Experience - Junior to Mid-Level CreativeRequirements:<ul><li>Experience with videography</li><li>Working knowledge of photography</li><li>Editing experience using Final Cut Pro</li><li>Understanding of social media video formats</li><li>Comfortable working on-location with clients</li></ul>Industry background may vary &mdash; we are open to creatives from different industries who have strong visual instincts and a willingness to learn.Equipment**Applicants preferably own their own camera gear, though company equipment will be provided when necessary.Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)<ul><li>FAA Part 107 Drone Certification</li><li>Experience filming real estate, architecture, lifestyle, or luxury brands</li><li>Basic drone operation experience</li><li>Motion graphics or design experience</li></ul>Applicants with Part 107 certification may qualify for higher project pay.Compensation<ul><li>Per-project pay</li><li>Pay varies based on project scope and responsibilities</li><li>Opportunities for increased pay based on experience and certifications</li></ul>For the right candidate, this role can grow into consistent part-time or full-time work.LocationApplicants must be based in Palm Beach County, Florida and able to attend shoots throughout the region.Who This Role Is Not ForThis position is best suited for creatives who take pride in their craft and want to grow within a professional production environment.If you are simply looking to show up, press record, and hand off files, this likely won&rsquo;t be the right fit.
