Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. In this role, you will support attorneys across a variety of practice areas by drafting legal documents, conducting research, and assisting with case preparation. Your proactive approach and organizational skills will be vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our law office and the successful handling of legal matters. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal expertise while contributing to impactful work in a collaborative environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist attorneys with case management, including organizing files, drafting legal documents and reviewing contracts.</li><li>Conduct legal research to support case strategies across diverse practice areas like estate planning and administration, family law, real estate law, and small business matters.</li><li>Support family law litigation efforts through document management, discovery coordination, and preparation of pleadings.</li><li>Maintain client files and records, flagging deadlines, monitoring case activities, and preparing correspondence.</li><li>Provide administrative support, including submitting court filings, performing data entry, proofreading documents, and communicating with clients via phone with professionalism and courtesy.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience as a paralegal or in a legal administrative role within a law office setting.</li><li>Strong knowledge of various practice areas such as estate planning and administration, real estate transactions, business entity formation, and family law.</li><li>Proficiency with legal research platforms; familiarity with case management systems.</li><li>Ability to handle complex legal drafting tasks with precision; excellent proofreading and writing skills.</li><li>Experience with legal case management and administrative software such as Abacus; adept at data entry and document review processes.</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills complemented by effective phone etiquette and professional communication abilities.</li><li>Join us to be part of a vibrant team where your expertise will make a meaningful difference!
