If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about providing outstanding customer service, this is the perfect opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a busy dental clinic.Duties<ul><li>Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in/check-out processes with professionalism and efficiency</li><li>Schedule appointments using dental office management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring optimal patient flow</li><li>Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification processes</li><li>Collect payments, process medical collections, and manage billing tasks using Meditech, Epic, or Athenahealth EMR systems</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records by reviewing documentation, updating medical histories, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations</li><li>Assist with intake procedures including data entry of patient information and medical history forms</li><li>Answer multi-line phone systems promptly with excellent phone etiquette to address patient inquiries and appointment requests</li><li>Manage filing of dental records, medical records, and other office documentation efficiently</li><li>Support clinical staff by coordinating care plans and facilitating communication between patients and providers</li><li>Perform general clerical duties such as typing reports, managing electronic health records (EHR), and maintaining organized files</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or Dental Receptionist in a clinical setting with dental clinic experience preferred</li><li>Strong knowledge of dental terminology, CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-10/ICD-9 coding for diagnoses, and medical billing procedures</li><li>Familiarity with EMR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, eClinicalWorks, Meditech, Epic or Athenahealth is highly desirable</li><li>Demonstrated ability to handle insurance verification processes accurately and efficiently</li><li>Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and health information management software</li><li>Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively</li><li>Prior clinic or healthcare office experience that includes front desk responsibilities and medical administrative support is highly valued</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and filing tasks</li><li>Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette to create a welcoming environment for all patients</li></ul>Join us in delivering compassionate care through seamless administrative support!
