Please find job description below. Work experience is required. Looking for servers who can reliably work on weekend dinners at least. Position is available to start immediately._________________________For over 30 years, Sho Mi has been serving the Stockton neighborhood from the beautiful Lincoln Center. We serve casual, family-friendly Japanese cuisine including sushi, teriyaki, ramen, donburi, etc. for lunch and dinner.- JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-&middot; Greet and respond to customers courteously with information about restaurant menu items, facilities, store hours, etc.&middot; Maintain tidy facilities and keep material prepared for speedy customer service.&middot; Help/serve diners at the tables to provide optimal dining experience.&middot; Work with the kitchen/sushi bar staff, in addition to the service team, to ensure proper communication and timely/accurate delivery of orders to customers.&middot; Ensure quality and accuracy of the order contents and packaging on all orders prior to going out to the customers.&middot; Help customers (in-person &amp; over-the-phone) order and pay, and make sure order is correctly communicated via the POS system to the appropriate areas.&middot; Handle and store food, equipment, and inventory properly and in accordance with public health safety, state and local laws and company guidelines.&middot; Communicate any food quality, sanitation, inventory, equipment or maintenance issues to the MOD (manager on duty) and head chef ASAP.- QUALIFICATIONS -&middot; Always punctual (on-time) and highly reliable.&middot; Restaurant service experience is strongly preferred.&middot; Experienced in serving large number of customers in a fast-paced environment.&middot; Familiarity with Japanese food and menu items.&middot; Good knowledge of food safety and handling standards.&middot; Excellent teamwork and communication.&middot; Able to think/work well under high pressure.&middot; Attention to customer service and speedy operation.&middot; Able &amp; motivated to learn and improve quickly.Pay: From $16.90 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Referral program</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>What is your availability for work?
