Pay: &pound;500.00 - &pound;1,500.00 per monthJob description:We're Hiring - Graphic Designer (YouTube Thumbnails + Instagram Carousels)Shot Social is a creator and podcast agency working with some of the biggest names in the space. We're scaling fast and need a sharp, fast, creative designer to join the team.What you'll be doingYou'll be the go-to person for two specific things across our entire client roster:<ul><li>YouTube thumbnails - high CTR thumbnails for podcast episodes and long-form videos. A/B testable variants, bold typography, strong contrast, expressive faces, attention-grabbing concepts. We benchmark against the best on the platform and we expect that level of polish.</li><li>Instagram carousels - scroll-stopping carousel designs that drive saves and shares. Educational, listicle, story-driven, and quote-led formats. Brand-consistent across multiple clients while still being visually unique to each.</li></ul>You'll work alongside our editing team, social media managers, and operations lead to turn briefs around fast and iterate based on performance data.What we need from you<ul><li>Strong portfolio of YouTube thumbnails AND Instagram carousels (both required, not just one)</li><li>Familiarity with high-end podcast and creator thumbnail design as a benchmark</li><li>Proficient in Photoshop and Figma at minimum (Illustrator a plus)</li><li>Ability to turn around 3-5 thumbnail variants per video for A/B testing</li><li>Understanding of typography, hierarchy, contrast, and what stops the scroll</li><li>Fast turnaround times (24-48 hours per asset, sometimes same day)</li><li>English communication strong enough to take briefs in Slack and respond quickly</li><li>Reliable internet and availability across UK working hours (flexibility on timezone if you can deliver)</li></ul>Bonus points for<ul><li>Experience designing for podcast or creator brands specifically</li><li>Understanding of what works on YouTube vs Instagram (they're different)</li><li>Ability to also do reel covers and short-form video covers</li><li>Familiarity with Monday.com, Slack, and Dropbox workflows</li></ul>The role<ul><li>Full-time, remote</li><li>Monthly retainer (rate based on experience and location)</li><li>Working across 10-15 clients simultaneously</li><li>Direct line to founder and operations team</li><li>Long-term opportunity to grow with the agency as we scale (we're at a major growth moment)</li><li>Team trip to Morocco at the end of the year for full-time staff</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: RemoteWork Location: Remote
