Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sourcing &amp; Manufacturing Representative to join our team. Your expertise will help optimize sourcing activities, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with manufacturing teams to meet quality standards and production goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence supply chain excellence and contribute to the success of a forward-thinking organization committed to innovation and efficiency.Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with company objectives, focusing on cost savings, quality, and delivery timelines.</li><li>Manage supplier relationships through regular communication, performance evaluations, and root cause analysis to address issues proactively.</li><li>Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements that support procurement management goals.</li><li>Utilize ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS to process purchase orders, track procurement activities, and maintain accurate materials management records.</li><li>Coordinate with manufacturing teams on production planning, materials availability, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of components.</li><li>Conduct category management activities by analyzing market trends, supplier capabilities, and supply chain risks to optimize sourcing decisions.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and company policies during all procurement and contract management processes.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in procurement management or sourcing within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, or similar platforms used for procurement and materials management.</li><li>Demonstrated ability in contract negotiation, supplier management, and category management techniques.</li><li>Familiarity with production planning tools like MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems and logistics coordination.</li><li>Excellent analytical skills for root cause analysis related to supply chain disruptions or quality issues.</li><li>Understanding of federal regulations governing procurement practices is preferred but not mandatory.</li><li>Effective negotiation skills combined with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
