Job OverviewWe are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to provide on-site care for Veterans at the Central Iowa VA. This part-time role includes outpatient clinic, inpatient consults, and endoscopic procedures (EGD and colonoscopy). All equipment, supplies, and support staff are provided by the VA.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform GI consults and follow-up care.</li><li>Conduct EGD and colonoscopy procedures (diagnostic and therapeutic).</li><li>Complete documentation in the VA electronic health record.</li><li>Participate in required training and quality assurance activities.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>MD/DO with Board Certification in Gastroenterology.</li><li>Active, full, unrestricted U.S. medical license (any state).</li><li>Current BLS/ACLS.</li><li>Minimum 2 years of recent GI practice experience.</li><li>Ability to obtain/maintain VA credentialing and privileging.</li><li>Compliance with immunizations, TB testing, and background checks.</li></ul>Details<ul><li>On-site schedule: 8:00 AM &ndash; 4:00 PM, two days per week.</li><li>Competitive hourly compensation.</li><li>Serve and support America&rsquo;s Veterans in a collaborative environment.</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Malpractice insurance, travel and lodging are paid for by Si2 Healthcare.</li><li>Opportunity to serve and impact the Veteran community.</li></ul>Apply TodayPlease submit your CVJob Type: ContractPay: From $450.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Malpractice insurance</li><li>Relocation assistance</li><li>Travel reimbursement</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Are you a MD or DO?</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>ABIM (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
