The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience, strong technical proficiency in cloud-based accounting systems, and excellent organizational skills.Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit &amp; Loss.)</li><li>Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.</li><li>Reconcile bank accounts and financial statements.</li><li>Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.</li><li>Process payroll and prepare payroll tax filings.</li><li>Assist with budgeting and forecasting.</li><li>Conduct internal reviews to ensure compliance with accounting standards.</li><li>Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to support client financial decision-making.</li><li>Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (or equivalent experience.)</li><li>Minimum 5 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience required.</li><li>Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles required.</li><li>Advanced experience in QuickBooks Online required; experience with Zoho Books and Sage a plus.</li><li>Experience working with cloud-based accounting systems required.</li><li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities required.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Public accounting experience preferred.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>$60,000 &ndash; $65,000 base per year plus bonus</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Simple IRA with 3% match</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>Full-time</li><li>Monday through Friday</li><li>Business hours with flexibility</li><li>Primarily in-person, with hybrid flexibility available after onboarding</li></ul>If you are a motivated individual with a passion for numbers and a desire to contribute to the success of our organization, we encourage you to apply for this position.Job Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) 3% Match</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>8 hour shift</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have working knowledge of GAAP and experience preparing Balance Sheet and Profit &amp; Loss statements?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>full-cycle accounting or bookkeeping : 5 years (Required)</li><li>advanced QuickBooks Online: 5 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Chardon, OH 44024
