Our mission is to simplify the cabinetry experience through local showrooms, professional designers, and quality products.As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper / HR &amp; Payroll Manager to oversee the financial operations and administrative HR functions of the business.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the numbers, keeping systems organized, and supporting a growing team.Position OverviewThe Bookkeeper / HR &amp; Payroll Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting, payroll processing, HR administration, and financial reporting. This role works closely with leadership to ensure accurate financial records, organized payroll and HR processes, and smooth internal operations.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting &amp; Bookkeeping<ul><li>Manage daily bookkeeping and financial records</li><li>Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts</li><li>Process and track accounts payable and accounts receivable</li><li>Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly</li><li>Manage job costing and project financial tracking</li><li>Prepare financial reports for leadership and outside accounting firm</li><li>Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting</li><li>Maintain records for fixed assets and company expenses</li></ul>Payroll Administration<ul><li>Process weekly or bi-weekly payroll</li><li>Handle payroll tax filings and employer deposits</li><li>Maintain payroll records and employee documentation</li><li>Coordinate payroll systems and reporting</li></ul>HR Administration<ul><li>Maintain employee records and HR documentation</li><li>Manage onboarding paperwork and employee files</li><li>Assist with HR policies and compliance</li><li>Support employee benefits administration</li><li>Coordinate workers compensation and insurance documentation</li><li>Assist with safety reporting and internal HR matters</li></ul>Operational &amp; Administrative Support<ul><li>Maintain company insurance policies (liability, workers comp, etc.)</li><li>Track company expenses and vendor payments</li><li>Assist leadership with financial reporting and business insights</li><li>Help implement improved financial and administrative systems</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>5+ years experience in bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, or HR administration</li><li>Strong experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software</li><li>Experience managing payroll processing and payroll taxes</li><li>Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation</li><li>Familiarity with HR administration and employee documentation</li><li>Highly organized with strong attention to detail</li><li>Ability to manage confidential information</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced small business environment</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Experience working with multiple entities or locations</li><li>Experience in construction, home improvement, or project-based businesses</li><li>Accounting or business management education</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Financial reporting</li><li>Payroll processing</li><li>QuickBooks / Accounting software</li><li>Excel and financial analysis</li><li>HR administration</li><li>Organization and time management</li><li>Problem solving and communication</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Growth opportunities within a growing company</li><li>Collaborative and supportive team environment</li></ul>Why Join Simply Cabinetry?We are building something exciting &mdash; a company focused on great people, strong systems, and exceptional customer experiences.
