We are looking for an Assistant Finance Manager who can be the tactical engine of our finance department in Ar-Rayyan.Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between high-level financial strategy and day-to-day operational accounting. This is a role for a high-potential professional who is ready to take on more leadership, manage complex reporting, and ensure our fiscal health remains robust as we scale.Your Impactful Responsibilities<ul><li>Financial Reporting: Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all statements are prepared accurately and in accordance with IFRS.</li><li>Budgetary Support: Assist in developing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, providing detailed variance analysis to help department heads optimize their spending.</li><li>Tax Compliance: Manage the preparation and submission of tax schedules on the Dhareeba portal, ensuring the company remains in good standing with the General Tax Authority (GTA).</li><li>Operational Oversight: Review and approve accounts payable/receivable transactions, ensuring adherence to internal control policies and contract terms.</li><li>Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily liquidity and assist in managing bank relationships and project-based financing requirements.</li><li>Audit Facilitation: Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors, preparing all necessary files and resolving technical queries efficiently.</li></ul>Who You Are<ul><li>The Credentials: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or Finance. You are part-qualified or newly qualified (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or CMA).</li><li>The Experience: 6&ndash;8 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role. Experience in Qatar is highly preferred.</li><li>The Analyst: You have an analytical mind that loves to solve puzzles.
