We are looking to hire people with a service and businessoriented attitude in order to give our guests the best possible service. We constantly deliverand strive to give our guests a lasting memory that keeps us in the position of the longeststanding restaurant in town.This is roll is a dual position roll (Bartender/Server). Each roll will be separate and notperformed at the same time.In order to qualify for this roll, this specific individual must be comfortable working in a fastpaced team driven environment.Responsibilities for each roll are the following:Bartending<ul><li>Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to patrons</li></ul><ul><li>Take orders and serve food items to bar customers</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain a clean and organized bar area</li></ul><ul><li>Check customers' identification to ensure legal drinking age</li></ul><ul><li>Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately</li></ul><ul><li>Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies</li></ul><ul><li>Cleaning and upkeep of bar</li></ul><ul><li>Engage with customers and employees in a friendly and professional manner</li></ul><ul><li>Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies</li></ul>ServingResponsibilities:<ul><li>Greet and seat customers promptly</li></ul><ul><li>Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system</li></ul><ul><li>Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure customer satisfaction by checking on tables regularly</li></ul><ul><li>Clear and reset tables for the next guests</li></ul><ul><li>Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately</li></ul><ul><li>Assist in cleaning and maintaining the dining area</li></ul><ul><li>Follow all safety and sanitation policies</li></ul><ul><li>Daily side work</li></ul>Overall Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience as a bartender and server</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks</li></ul><ul><li>Strong communication and customer service skills</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li></ul><ul><li>Must be of legal age to serve alcohol</li></ul><ul><li>Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays</li></ul><ul><li>Team player with a positive attitude</li></ul>Skippers 34 Main Street Northport, NY 11768Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $17.00 - $40.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid training</li></ul>Shift:<ul><li>8 hour shift</li><li>Day shift</li><li>Night shift</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Bartending: 1 year (Required)</li><li>Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
