Hello there, thank you for taking an interest in Skippers! We are located right in the heart of

Northport with beautiful water views. We are looking to hire people with a service and business

oriented attitude in order to give our guests the best possible service. We constantly deliver

and strive to give our guests a lasting memory that keeps us in the position of the longest

standing restaurant in town.

This is roll is a dual position roll (Bartender/Server). Each roll will be separate and not

performed at the same time.

In order to qualify for this roll, this specific individual must be comfortable working in a fast

paced team driven environment.

Responsibilities for each roll are the following:

Bartending

• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to patrons

• Take orders and serve food items to bar customers

• Maintain a clean and organized bar area

• Check customers' identification to ensure legal drinking age

• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately

• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

• Cleaning and upkeep of bar

• Engage with customers and employees in a friendly and professional manner

• Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies

Serving

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat customers promptly

• Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system

• Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner

• Ensure customer satisfaction by checking on tables regularly

• Clear and reset tables for the next guests

• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately

• Assist in cleaning and maintaining the dining area

• Follow all safety and sanitation policies

• Daily side work

Overall Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender and server

• Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol

• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Team player with a positive attitude
