 Welding Inspector will be responsible for inspecting the product to ensure it meets required specifications using established inspection techniques (NDT, dimensional inspection, etc.)

   Demonstrates a proven working knowledge of various technical/inspection principles. Tasks assigned require a basic knowledge of concepts and procedures.
  </li>
  <li>
   Demonstrates the ability to solve basic problems with assistance. Recognizes problems in inspection process and reports to appropriate supervisor and/or lead person in a timely manner.
  </li>
  <li>
   Undergo metrology training (use and calibration of gauges) either in a classroom setting or while on the job to be able to use precision measuring devices effectively.
  </li>
  <li>
   Undergo training for visual examination of welds, hardness testing and NDE disciplines.
  </li>
  <li>
   Become familiar with computer systems to retrieve relevant work documents such as engineering drawings, routings (including report entry), applicable transactions and other documents as they relate to the overall manufacturing and assembly of products.
  </li>
  <li>
   Become familiar with manufacturing and assembly drawings, SPs, QPs, and work instructions. Initial training is provided on the job under supervision of a skilled Inspector.
  </li>
  <li>
   Become familiar with dimensional inspection and internal specifications.
  </li>
  <li>
   Review and comprehend blueprints, drawings, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of part/product, sequence of operations and/or set up requirements.
  </li>

   Ability to verify correct material and heat number against internal traceability system
  </li>
  <li>
   Demonstrates a clear understanding of safety policies and procedures. Operates overhead crane and other capacity lifting equipment (forklift) safely (training provided).

   Participates/contributes in continuous improvement initiatives and programs.

   Certificate in Welding from a technical school/college.

   Certified as a level II in at least one NDE discipline.

   Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
