Job Summary The MEP Electrical &amp; Plumbing Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, material take-offs, and tender pricing for electrical and plumbing works in building projects. The role supports tendering, budgeting, and cost control activities in coordination with engineers, procurement, and project teams.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical and plumbing systems based on drawings, specifications, and BOQs</li><li>Perform quantity take-offs for electrical (power, lighting, ELV) and plumbing (water supply, drainage, sanitary) works</li><li>Analyze tender documents, drawings, and technical specifications</li><li>Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors</li><li>Prepare comparison sheets and cost breakdowns</li><li>Assist in preparing tender submissions, value engineering proposals, and budget estimates</li><li>Coordinate with design, drafting, and site teams to clarify scope and quantities</li><li>Update estimates based on design changes and tender addenda</li><li>Support project teams during pre-contract and post-contract stages</li><li>Maintain estimation databases, pricing records, and historical cost data</li></ul>Requirements &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Diploma or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field</li><li>3&ndash;7 years of experience as an MEP Estimator (Electrical &amp; Plumbing) in UAE</li><li>Strong knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and installation methods</li><li>Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and estimation software</li><li>Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, BOQs, and specifications</li><li>Familiar with international and local authority standards</li><li>Strong analytical, numerical, and time-management skills</li><li>Good communication and negotiation skills</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Experience in high-rise, commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects</li><li>Knowledge of value engineering and cost optimization</li><li>Experience with GCC / UAE tendering procedures</li><li>Exposure to pre-contract and post-contract cost control</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: AED3,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person

Job SummaryAn Electrical and Plumbing Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans for electrical systems and plumbing installations in construction projects. They work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure designs are accurate, compliant with codes, and ready for execution.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare detailed electrical and plumbing drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).</li><li>Develop layouts for:</li><li>Power distribution systems</li><li>Lighting systems</li><li>Water supply and drainage systems</li><li>Firefighting and HVAC piping (if required)</li><li>Interpret engineering designs and convert them into technical drawings.</li><li>Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes and standards.</li><li>Coordinate with:</li><li>Electrical engineers</li><li>Plumbing engineers</li><li>Architects and contractors</li><li>Revise drawings based on feedback and site conditions.</li><li>Prepare as-built drawings after project completion.</li><li>Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.</li><li>Assist in quantity take-offs and material estimation.</li></ul>Required Skills<ul><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar drafting software</li><li>Strong understanding of:</li><li>Electrical systems and wiring diagrams</li><li>Plumbing systems and piping layouts</li><li>Knowledge of international and local codes (e.g., DEWA standards if in UAE)</li><li>Attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Good communication and coordination skills</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Diploma or Degree in:</li><li>Electrical Engineering</li><li>Mechanical Engineering</li><li>Drafting or related field</li><li>2&ndash;5 years of relevant experience (preferred)</li><li>Experience in construction or MEP (Electrical, Plumbing) projects</li></ul>Preferred Requirements<ul><li>Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling)</li><li>Familiarity with project documentation and approvals</li><li>Knowledge of site execution processes</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per monthWork Location: In person
