You&rsquo;ll work with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, fostering their development through structured activities, play, and exploration. As part of our team, you&rsquo;ll also collaborate with parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child.Duties<ul><li>Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times in a fun and engaging environment.</li><li>Plan and implement creative, age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.</li><li>Provide individualized care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed.</li><li>Use positive reinforcement techniques to effectively guide and support children&rsquo;s behavior.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom that encourages curiosity and learning.</li><li>Build strong relationships with parents by communicating regularly about their child&rsquo;s progress and any concerns.</li><li>Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of child development.</li></ul>Education RequirementsCDA credential, Associate&rsquo;s Degree in Early Childhood Education, or currently in the process of obtaining one.Experience &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in a child care setting such as a daycare center or preschool is preferred.</li><li>Strong skills in infant care, toddler care, behavior management, and general caregiving.</li><li>Familiarity with basic first aid and safety procedures is a plus.</li><li>Experience nannying or working with children in other caregiving roles is beneficial.</li><li>A passion for early childhood education and creating a nurturing, engaging learning environment is essential.</li></ul>We are looking for someone who is dependable, patient, and passionate about helping young children grow and learn.Join our team at Smart Start Learning Center and help us make a lasting impact on the lives of young children while having fun every day!
