Overview We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Dental Office Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, managing front desk operations, and supporting administrative functions within a busy dental clinic. This role requires strong organizational skills, familiarity with dental and medical terminology, and proficiency with various electronic health record (EHR) systems.Duties<ul><li>Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in and check-out processes</li><li>Schedule appointments using dental practice management software</li><li>Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance verification procedures</li><li>Collect payments, process billing, and handle medical collections as needed</li><li>Assist with patient intake forms, update medical histories, and ensure HIPAA compliance during all interactions</li><li>Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette and handle appointment rescheduling or inquiries</li><li>Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and maintaining organized medical records</li><li>Support office management activities to ensure smooth daily operations of the dental practice</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and general computer skills for documentation review and data entry</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations; bilingual abilities are a plus</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism at all times</li></ul>This role offers an opportunity to be an integral part of a dedicated dental team committed to providing quality care.
